Vegas Vacation, Part 2
There is so much to do in Vegas that I could easily do ten post on the subject and perhaps I will.. The best things about a Vegas vacation is that depending upon location it is reachable by car, bus or airplane within a few hours. Second is the price. This a city for bargain hunting and if you are a gambler and happen to start winning then the casinos are more than happy to comp you a over night stay. They will do this because they really do not ever want you to leave as long as you have their money in your pockets. They will offer all sorts of freebies until they get even with you. Just know when you are ahead and when to head home.
The town is called the entertainment capital of the world for a reason. Since its very early days entertainers have embedded themselves there. You can see some of the most famous performers on planet earth during a Vegas getaway. You will find Cirque du Soleil, Chris Angel, David Copperfield and Penn and Teller there almost year round. If you are a fan of hard rock you may find Kiss performing there or if country is your thing you can find acts like Shania Twain, Alan Jackson and Toby Keith.
If Broadway is what you are looking for, why go to New York when some of the most popular plays of all time are being preformed everyday in Vegas. You could see shows like LES MISÉRABLES, Evita, Sister Act and Jersey Boys.
Now it is up to you to look into what acts you would like to check out and see when they are in Vegas. Plan your trip around the act in the same way people did many years ago when Sinatra and Elvis were the destination acts in Vegas.
